Young H. Chun

Project

I had worked in the military as well as in the corporate world, but I found that teaching is by far the most challenging, intellectually stimulating, and rewarding career I've ever had.

Since the fall semester of 1992, I have taught a wide variety of courses in managerial statistics, data mining, management science, and operations management at Louisiana State University.

The most rewarding aspect of teaching is being in a classroom with a group of motivated and hardworking students and seeing the light go on as I help them find their way through the jungle.  Beyond the classroom, seeing my former students establish themselves professionally and personally is another rewarding part of my job as a professor.
