Learning goals for PhD in Business Administration Degree with Concentration in ISDS

1.  Communication and teaching

Students will be able to communicate effectively in writing and oral presentations.  Students will be able to teach basic courses in undergraduate program in an effective manner.

Students will be able to make intelligent choices when conducting research, teaching or providing service as they relate to trade-offs between ethics and the impact on society. 

3.  Critical and Analytical Thinking

When confronted with a research question, students will be able to think critically, analyze the facts, use the appropriate methodologies, relate the issue to the known body of knowledge in the area and draw sound conclusions.

4.  Discipline-Specific Body of Knowledge

When confronted with a research question, students will be able to use discipline-specific research knowledge including the history and philosophy of science to support their research.

5.  Research Skills

Students will be able to independently conduct research on leading issues in their disciplines and produce high-quality papers in top-tier conferences and journals
